The Aangan Lit Fest is a celebration of novels, poems, and memoirs of the South Asian diaspora. Featuring readings and Q&As with authors, panel discussions, and writing workshops, the festival seeks to gather writers, industry experts, and readers around a love of literature, storytelling, and shared heritage.

Meet your favorite South Asian authors as they read from their works, answer audience questions, and sign copies of their books.

Hear from a number of writers and thinkers whose unique voices are shaping our ideas around home, identity, tradition, modernity, publishing, and more.

Workshops

Aspiring writers can join sessions on everything from how to pen the perfect story to how to get published.

Children's Festival

The Children's Festival will feature an author session, story-times, and activity sessions on illustration and writing.

ALF Pop-Up Bookshop

Peruse and purchase books, stationery, and more from South Asian writers and small businesses.

 

Poetry Night

The festival's main event will take place Saturday evening and will feature poetry and music from up-and-coming writers as well as established artists.
